The Tree Fund

From a seed to something more

A simple idea.
A shared impact.

One appeal grows at a time, so the whole fee stream goes to one cause until its window closes. Every appeal runs for 6 hours. Donations can add time (see below).

01Launch

Plant the seed.

A charity shares an urgent appeal on X. Tag The Tree Fund to put it forward for review.

02Fund

Let it grow.

One approved appeal receives the creator fee stream. Direct donations add to the pot and can add time.

03Impact

Make it count.

The charity receives its funds. A public record shows what came in and what was paid out.

What happens in a funding window

  1. Step 01An appeal is reviewed and joins the queue. Only approved appeals ever appear on the tree.
  2. Step 02The 6-hour window opens. Creator fees are allocated to that appeal and supporters can add direct donations, which can extend the window.
  3. Step 03The window closes, the charity is paid through its chosen method, and the payout is recorded in the ledger.

A few things, explained

Small beginnings. Lasting purpose.

How $TREE supports fundraising, where the money goes, and what we’re working towards.

What is The Tree Fund?

The Tree Fund is building a connection between crypto activity and charitable giving. Our starting point is simple: focus support on one fundraiser at a time, use token creator rewards to help fund it, and make the journey of those funds visible.

How does $TREE help raise money?

$TREE is The Tree Fund's planned token on Pons V2, paired with ETH. The planned trading fees are 1% base fee plus 1.5% creator tax, making 2.5% in total under normal trading conditions. The creator-tax portion is intended to support fundraising. Launch-period charges may differ; the final settings will be published in our token docs.

Does every trade immediately send money to a charity?

No. A qualifying trade generates creator rewards, which must then be collected, allocated and processed for donation. The activity feed will distinguish rewards generated from confirmed payouts. A trade receipt shows where a contribution began; it does not, by itself, prove a charity has received the money.

Where can I follow my contribution?

Our activity feed is designed to show the attributable wallet, trade transaction, ETH contribution, time and associated fundraiser. As funds progress, collection and payout records help explain what happened next. We only show amounts and attribution supported by verified records.

Why focus on one fundraiser at a time?

We want each appeal to receive meaningful support. Starting with one featured fundraiser concentrates attention and funding around a shared cause, while making it easier for everyone to follow its progress.

Do I need to buy $TREE to help?

No. You can share the featured appeal or donate directly when donations are enabled on its page. Buying or holding $TREE is optional. Holding the token alone does not generate a donation or give you a right to charity funds or financial returns.

How are charities and appeals selected?

Before an appeal can receive funding, we need to verify its charity identity and supported payout route. A suggested appeal is not automatically approved. Each fundraiser should also explain whether donations support a specific restricted campaign or the charity's general work.

What does “crypto for good” mean to us?

It means making crypto useful beyond trading: helping people support causes, making funding easier to follow, and giving charities another way to reach supporters. Our long-term ambition is a fundraising platform where communities can turn shared attention into sustained support.

Will I be able to pledge support?

Pledging is part of our future plans. We want supporters to be able to commit to a cause and follow through when a campaign or milestone is reached. A pledge would be shown separately from money actually received. This feature is not available yet.

Are matching donations planned?

Yes. We want to make it possible for sponsors and community partners to match eligible donations. Each matching campaign would clearly state its sponsor, available budget, deadline and conditions. Matching would only be advertised once the commitment and funding arrangements were verified.

Will communities be able to launch their own fundraisers?

That is part of the longer-term vision. We want charities and communities to propose custom fundraisers with clear goals, verified recipients and transparent funding records. Submitting a fundraiser would still require review before activation; it would not allow anyone to choose an unchecked payout wallet.

What comes next?

First, we're focused on making the core journey reliable: verified appeals, accurate contribution records and confirmed donation processing. Pledges, matching campaigns and custom fundraisers are planned next steps—not features available today. We'll share progress as each is ready.
